“Bob” R. L. Yokum from St. Pierre, South Dakota with his team of Buffalo in 1906 with Ben Bindell.  

Many souvenir postcards exist of this famous and

only Buffalo Team but this is an original photograph.

 When Robert E Lee Yokum was born on March 3, 1866, in Tehama, California, to Daniel 35 and Dolly 37.

He married Inez Coppins in 1889 in Bowie, Texas. They had two children during their marriage.

He died in December 1937 in Kirby, Wyoming, at the age of 71.

 He shows up in the 1905 Census as a 10 year resident of South Dakota.
